Snazzy Shapes!

We are learning about 2D and 3D shapes. We are learning to create shapes and to then talk about how many sides and corners a shape has. 

We have used sticks on the mat to create shapes. We then used tooth pick sticks and blue tack to create shapes. The blue tack helped us to manipulate our shapes and it really helped us to think about the number of sides a shape has.

Here we are learning to recognise numerals to 10, count forwards and backwards from 10 and then show the value of numbers! Great work everyone!

We are learning to count a number of objects and then create and describe a repeating pattern to a buddy! Lots of hands on fun while we learn!
