Literacy is alive in our classrooms!

Everyday we are learning to be life long learners, to manage ourselves and participate in class. Literacy time in our class involves us making our own decisions while we work independently and while we work alongside others. Our learning is rich and FUN in our class. HAVE A LOOK AND SEE!

M for Macaroni

Say macaroni and cheese!

For phonics today we are learning about the letter M, how to form it correctly, and what sound it makes.  We made some macaroni necklaces which also helped us to improve our hand eye coordination.  Some of our boys weren't too keen to wear necklaces so they made some for their Mums.  What a nice thing to do.

Marvellous Maths

We are learning to join two sets together and give a total using materials. We have also been practising writing mathematical equations. Have a look!

BLAST OFF!!!

We are making Rrrrrockets!! Rocket starts with r. We have to think about the shapes we are using to make our rockets. Can you spot the shapes we are using?

We have to concentrate very hard when we are using our scissors and a lot of perseverance is needed to cut the right shape. Great thinking and managing self everyone!
